Darling little "Sassy Cassie" is an attention hog! She will jump up and crawl into your lap whether she knows you or you are a stranger coming to visit for the first time. She just loves people and wants them to love her back. This playful girl will play with any toy that is left out for her, or seek out her foster sister (kitten Moira) to play with. At the adoption center she has lashed out at other cats and dogs to show them who's boss. She will be best suited as either an only pet, paired with her equally as playful and loving foster sister Moira who doesn't mind letting Cassie be the dominant one, or to a seasoned-cat owner who understands how to properly and slowly introduce new animals, she may settle in over time with other pets in the home as long as she establishes herself as queen of the castle.
We have created a non-profit animal shelter dedicated to eliminating cruelty, abuse and the overpopulation of animals. The Humane Society is committed to creating the awareness of animal rights throughout the Romeoville community by providing numerous animal welfare programs, including pet adoptions, humane education and cruelty investigations. ALL animals available for adoption are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, fecal tested, fiv/felv tested (cats only), heartworm tested (dogs only) and microchipped. It is the policy of the Romeoville Humane Society to spay or neuter all animals in its care in an effort to reduce the homeless pet population.
