Bristol's Story...
Hi, I'm Bristol! My sissy Brighton and I came to St. Francis when we were just itty bitty babies and had to be bottle fed. Now i'm big enough to not only eat on my own, but to look for my forever family! I hope to find them soon! The best family for me will be one that either has another young and playful kitty at home, or one that wants to adopt me with my sibling or one of my foster friends. We really love to play with each other and that would make me happiest. Hope to meet you soon!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bristol, a Tampa Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Tampa, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Tampa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tampa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tampa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tampa paves the way for another one to be saved.
