Dewey's Story...
Dewey and his 5 siblings (Smathers, Ernest, Olivia, Mallory, Truman) were born from tiny mamma Myrtle who was rescued from the Ybor ship yard. We couldn't believe she had 6 perfect little nuggets! This little family has had an incredible mamma taking care of them along with bottle feeding help, as Myrtle was such a tiny little girl. Dewey and all of his siblings are very affectionate and playful. He loves running and playing and settling in for a good long cuddly nap when he's worn out. He snuggles himself right under my neck and will purr and purr. Dewey is an adorable little moo kitty with unique markings. He has a little dot that looks just like a dimple. Like all young kittens, Dewey is very active and playful. As a young kitten Dewey will do best with one of his adorable liter mates or with a family that has another young fur baby that he can play with. Please email me with any questions you may have about Dewey or any of his foster siblings.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dewey, a Tampa Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Tampa, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Tampa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tampa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tampa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tampa paves the way for another one to be saved.
