Onyx's Story...
Hi there, my name is Onyx. Isn't that a cool name? I think so. I am a young (estimated to be 19 weeks as of October 1st) terrier mix dog. I am full of energy. I love playing with other puppies and I love attention from people. I am learning how to sit and walk properly on a leash.

I need to find my own family. A family that will give me the love and attention that I need and deserve. I sure hope that is with you.

Onyx resides at a rescue organization in Arkansas. Please contact Gail Ross at 870-431-8229, or via email at gailspets@hotmail.com to discuss this dog. You can find our adoption application by going to www.Gailspets.org and clicking on the Adoption Application tab. The application, when completed and submitted, will be electronically sent to Gail’s email address.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Onyx, a Oakland Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Oakland, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog from a breeder in Oakland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Oakland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Oakland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Oakland paves the way for another one to be saved.
