My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This little sweetheart is approx 6 months old and 6 lbs as of 10/16. She is just the most adorable little pup. She is a little timid and shy but wags her tail all of the time. She loves to curl up in an open crate or in a big doggie bed with her buddies. She looks like a little terrier mix. She has a pretty coat of tan and cream and is still in need of house and leash/harness training but is learning quickly to run out side to the yard with the other dogs. She is very tiny and timid and as she is so tiny, we feel an adult home would be best.

The total adoption donation of $475 and includes the required interstate health certificate and transport , spay/neuter, shots including rabies, bordatella, parvo, lepto, distemper and canine influenza, and micro chip with a lifetime pre paid registration. The total amount is payable to Shaggy Dog Rescue which is a 501c3. Some of our dogs are still in Texas in foster care. Just as a note, if you are in Massachusetts and are adopting directly from Texas rather than from a local foster, there are new quarantine laws in effect. All rescues must be quarantined 48 hours at a state run facility, and in addition, a second interstate health certificate is required to be issued by a Massachusetts vet. This new law may add an additional cost.
