My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Miss Harriet is an adorable, squatty, snorty Pit Bull. She was found wandering in a bad part of town. She had a huge cut on her throat and we don't even want to imagine what had happened to her. Regardless of the pain she must have been in, she was the sweetest, happiest pup when her rescuers approached her. She knew it was her turn to get off the cruel streets and happily jumped in the car ready to ride.

Harriet just adores all people but requested to be the only dog, because she’s the queen, you see! Harriet will go above and beyond to please her person. She walks well on the leash, is house and crate trained and listens very well. She already knows how to sit and will come when off leash.
Occasionally she likes to play tug of war and she seems to like plush/squeaky toys but she really is more of a mellow lady that prefers lounging on the couch instead…preferably with her person. She also likes to go on car rides and behaves like a perfect little lady.

Harriet makes friends with people easily including respectful children. She greets everybody with a big smile and a tail wag. She is that kind of dog that will melt in your hands when showing affection, she loves belly rubs and will fall at sleep if you scratch the right spot.
Miss Harriet is asking when it will be her turn to have her very own forever family. She would love nothing more than to be close to you, watch you, protect you and be your loyal best friend until the end.
