  • Age: Adult
  • Size: Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)

This sweet and silly girl is Missy. She will have been a foster with us for a year in November. Missy needs a forever home with no children or other pets. She is around 6 years old or so, and spayed. Missy is up to date on her vaccines, crate trained, house trained, knows various commands, walks fairly well on leash, is very smart, and quite a hilarious girl. She has a genetic skin issue which can be maintained with treatments of cephalexin and prednisone. Both of these medications are inexpensive or free at certain pharmacies. Seasonal allergies can make her skin look worse sometimes too but Missy doesnt really mind. She is quite happy as long as someone will get her out for walks, cuddles and other adventures. She enjoys car rides greatly too. If you are looking for a wonderful companion or addition to the family, contact for more information about Missy. Her adoption fee is $350.

About Paw Patrol

About Our Rescue Group...

Paw Patrol is a dedicated group of volunteers working to improve the quality of life for dogs living in our community.

Our Mission is:
To improve the lives of dogs living in Dayton, Ohio and the surrounding municipalities (with special emphasis on helping outdoor dogs).
To provide shelter in the form of an adequate doghouse to outdoor dogs in an effort to keep them warm and dry.
To promote the importance of spaying/neutering dogs and to offer this service at a free or subsidized cost to dog owners.
To provide information to the public about the negative aspects of dog tethering.
To assist owners with necessary resources to allow them to keep their dog happy, healthy, and out of the already over-crowded shelter system.
To provide outdoor dogs with either a trolley run or a fence built by volunteers in order to improve their quality of life and remove any form of tethering.

Our Adoption Process...

Our Adoption Fees cover spay/neuter for our dogs, vaccinations, heart worm testing/medication, microchipping and any vet care the dog is needing. Once you fill out an application on our adoptables tab on our website,, a representative will conduct a reference check with your vet provided. A call to the potential adopter will be made when the representative is done verifying the information on the contract.
