Kiki can be a bit on the shy side, loves women but needs a little bit of time to make friends with men. She can also be nervous with loud noises or unknown situations so her ideal home would be one that is a bit on the quiet side with a routine that she can count on every day. Children who are on the calmer side would be best.
Kiki has perfect manners and is house trained, crate trained and is good on a leash. She is fully vetted, spayed and will need to continue heart worm treatment in her new home.
If you have any questions about Kiki or any of our other dogs, please feel free to contact us at: firstname.lastname@example.org. Our Adoption Application can be found on our website under the ‘work with us’ tab.
We highly recommend that our potential adopters fill out an online application as soon as possible, as it greatly expedites the process of finding the right dog for your situation. The adoption app is available on our website (www.bullpenrescue.org) under the 'work with us' tab. If you choose not to fill out an application before inquiring about a particular dog, please briefly tell us about yourself, family, and lifestyle since this will help us determine if the dog you’re interested in is a good match.
Our dogs are available for adoption nationwide but preference is given to adopters willing to do an in-person meeting. Please understand that our dogs are not adopted on a first-come, first-serve basis, but rather we strive for a “perfect placement” so we know that they will not be failed again.

You'll receive a copy, too, at to help you keep track of which pets you've inquired about, and which shelters and rescues you've emailed.
NOTE: Some shelters have physical locations you can visit; some of these shelters may only have pets for a limited time, so please do not wait for a reply—just go visit the shelter! Other organizations are rescue groups run by busy volunteers who may take a while to reply. You can find information about the shelter or rescue group caring for this pet, and their adoption procedures, on the pet's details page on Adopt-a-Pet.com.
