GiGi's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

GiGi's Story...
GiGi is a very interestingly marked young dog approximately 7 months old. She came into the pound as a stray and was not claimed by her owners. She is most probably a black lab and heeler mix. Her behavior is that of a heeler. She is a very quiet dog and gets along great with her foster family. She wants to chase the cats but we are working to teach her not to do that. She's a wonderful dog and will be a great new addition to some lucky family.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

GiGi, a Somonauk Labrador Retriever/Blue Heeler dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Blue Heeler for sale in Somonauk, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Blue Heeler dog from a breeder in Somonauk.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Somonauk already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Somonauk breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Blue Heeler breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Blue Heeler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Somonauk paves the way for another one to be saved.
