Meet Quinn

Quinn is spayed, microchipped, current on age appropriate vaccinations, she’s house broken if taken out regularly.  Quinn is approximately 16weeks old(as of Noveber 12), she’s a Russell Terrier/Pit mix. Apaws was contacted by a good samaritan who found Quinn & her siblings, when they were approximately 2weeks old when they came to us. They were found in a box on the side of the highway, all of the puppies were very small covered in fleas, ants & tar. Harley & all of her siblings have wonderful personalities.Named from the popular movie Suicide Squad. Please consider opening your heart & home to Quinn.

About Animal Protection and Welfare Society

About Our Rescue Group...

A.P.A.W.S. (Animal Protection And Welfare Society) is an all volunteer group of people who are dedicated to ensuring that all pet animals in and around the South Louisiana area live in homes which provide for all of the animal's physical and emotional needs (including daily maintenance, medical care and nurturing) for the animal's lifetime.

Some volunteers provide food, shelter and love in their homes to cats and dogs who have been injured, abandoned or thrown away. Others help by transporting the animals to veterinarian appointments, volunteering on Adoption Days, participating in fund raising activities, mailings, publicity efforts and public education. Because we receive no external funding, we rely on fund raising efforts and donations to fund our efforts.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We will have cats, dogs, puppies and kittens available for adoption
at PetSmart off of Siegen Lane, Baton Rouge, LA. Every SATURDAY from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Our Adoption Process...

An application for adoption is required. Once the application is approved a legally binding contract is signed and an adoption fee is paid.
