Rex's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Rex's Story...

Rex is a happy, active Springer Spaniel, who at 9 years, finds himself needing a new home due to his owner going into assisted living. Rex's first family, besides the humans, consisted of another Springer (Jagger), a big Newfoundland mix, a Chihuahua, and a cat. So Rex is mellow around other animals and he loves people so much that he would like to be a lap dog. Rex was very loved in his first home and is still a bit roly poly, but he is losing weight and now enjoys running and long walks. Rex is nicely house-trained, neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and on heartworm preventative.

If you can find room in your heart and home for Rex, he will reward you with endless smiles and happiness.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rex, a Palmyra Springer Spaniel dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Springer Spaniel for sale in Palmyra, or seeking a Springer Spaniel dog from a breeder in Palmyra.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Palmyra already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Palmyra breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Springer Spaniel breeders who help with Springer Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Palmyra paves the way for another one to be saved.
