Facts about Decator

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: Tan Or Fawn Tabby
  • Age: Adult
  • Sex: Male
  • ID#: APC-A-79
  • Hair: Unknown
Decator was discovered in a feral colony in July 2016 with a wound to one of his legs. Since he appeared to be much friendlier than your average "feral", the colony caretakers were able to scoop him up and take him to a local vet, where a microchip was discovered. When his owners were contacted, they indicated that he had been "missing' for over six months and they had already replaced him with another cat. Allie's Pals had an open spot in our foster program, and were glad to welcome Decator into our fold. Decator is one of those cats who gives his whole heart and soul to his favorite people. When he's become familiar with you, he turns into a devoted lap cat, loves to be close, and runs to the door when he hears you approaching. He adores being petted, and loves to be told what a good boy he is. He gets along fine with his fellow foster cats, but makes no secret of the fact that he wants to be first in line for the cuddles. He also enjoys a good play session with a feather wand or a laser pointer. Decator is neutered, microchipped, tested negative for FeLV and FIV, fully vaccinated (including rabies vaccination), treated to prevent fleas, and perfectly litter box trained. His ideal family should be willing to give him a few days to adjust to a new living situation. Once he's been won over with a bit of attention and a couple of crunchy cat treats, he'll begin to show his fabulous personality. Good things come to those who patiently wait! About Allie's Pals Cat Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Allie’s Pals Cat Rescue is a non-profit organization devoted to the well-being and rescuing of cats and kittens throughout the TriValley. We are dedicated individuals who find joy in creating healthy environments and, ultimately, forever homes for cats and kittens that otherwise may not have the opportunity to enhance the lives of people. We encourage the positive collaboration of area feline rescues in order to maximize efforts for all who share in the goal of treating, rehabilitating, and rescuing cats and kittens from public shelters. Our combined years of experience are proof of our commitment to nurturing furry felines and offering temporary foster homes while screening potential adoptive families.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Many of our adult cats are shown at the Dublin Petsmart, located at 6960 Amador Plaza Road, Dublin (Alameda County), CA, and may be viewed during the store's normal business hours.

Adoptions interviews are by appointment; potential adopters may contact the person listed on either listings or at the Dublin Petsmart.

Kittens, when available for adoption, are shown at the Dublin Petsmart on Saturdays (11:30 am - 3:00 pm), and Sundays (noon - 3:00 pm).

Our Adoption Process...

Before the posting of our cats or kittens for adoption, they have been spayed or neutered, tested for FeLV and FIV, microchipped for identification (Allie's Pals Cat Rescue takes responsibility for registering your new pet's microchip for you!), and are current on their age-appropriate vaccinations, wormings, and flea prevention treatments.

All potential adopters are subject to the approval of an Adoption Counselor with Allie's Pals; our sole goal is to help make sure our cats and kittens are placed in PERMANENT, safe, compatible and loving homes.

All adopters will be required to sign an Adoption Contract, and will be provided with complete health and behavioral information about their new pet. Adoption fees apply: Cats over the age of six months ($50.00), single kittens up to the age of six months ($75.00), two kittens up to the age of six months and adopted at the same time ($125.00).
