Brooklyn-Excellent snuggle bud's Story...
Brooklyn is just the sweetest little girl around. From the moment she came into the shelter, even though she was scared and overwhelmed, her little butt never stopped wiggling. She loves everyone: human or animal.

Someone was bad to Brooklyn at one point. She has chemical burns straight down her spine. They are healed, and her coat covers most of it. She has been through some awful things during her year alive, but she doesn't hold it against anyone.

Brooklyn's $250 adoption fee covers all vetting: spaying, shots, etc. She is currently in a foster home waiting for a family of her own.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Brooklyn-Excellent snuggle bud, a Palmyra Chihuahua/Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Dachshund for sale in Palmyra, or seeking a Chihuahua/Dachshund dog from a breeder in Palmyra.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Palmyra already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Palmyra breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Dachshund breeders who help with Chihuahua/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Palmyra paves the way for another one to be saved.
