Joey is an awesome 5 month old puppy rescued from the city shelter in San Antonio. He is believed to have Italian Greyhound in his but he will be larger in size (may have some lab or possibly vizsla in him?) He currently weighs 19 lbs and is likely to be a medium size adult (less than 45 lbs).Joey is a sweet, very affectionate puppy that loves your attention! He is active and playful and full of life! Joey has a fun loving personality and enjoys playing with his toys and running in the yard. He is looking for a home where he will live inside with his family and is best suited for children 8 yrs+. He will need a secure fenced yard for outdoor play and potty. His adoption fee of $175 includes neuter, microchip, 3 sets of shots, bordatella vaccine, rabies vaccine, deworming, flea/tick prevention and heartworm preventative. What's Up, Pup? Rescue For Dogs, Inc. is a small non profit (501c-3) that rescues dogs and puppies from "death row" in the San Antonio area. We are a small organization with focus on providing excellent care and responsible rehoming.

Our Adoption Process...
Application approval required for all adoptions. Signed contract applies. Adoption fee varies. **ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS** 1. All Dogs and Puppies are adopted as companion pets and as such must live indoors with their families.
2. A secured visible fence with appropriate size yard for the dog is required for supervised outdoor play and potty.
3. Puppies under 4 months of age are not adopted to families with children under 8 yrs old.
4. Dogs and Puppies are placed according to their temperament and personality to ensure a good fit for the dog and the adopter. I do not place them according to their looks.
5. Certain breed mixes may have specific adoption requirements.
