Louie's Story...
LOUIE is a sweet, gentle Beagle mix male who just want to hug and be hugged. Louie is about one year old and weighs 50 pounds. He has been vetted, vaccinated, neutered and microchipped. He tested negative for heartworm. He is in a foster home with other dogs and a cat. He didn’t bother the ducks at a local lake. When visiting the vet's office, he gently stood on his hind legs and put both front paws on counter and looked at everyone behind the counter as if to say, "I'm here for my checkup!" If you live in another state, don't let that stand in your way. We will work to transport Louie if it means he will have a good forever home. If you are another rescue group, we will waive the adoption fee but you can make a donation toward vetting at your discretion. The adoption fee will help our 501(c)3 non-profit rescue to cover the cost of the veterinary care he has received.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Louie, a Union City Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Union City, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Union City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Union City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Union City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Union City paves the way for another one to be saved.
