Oh sure, I know some people will say, "Wow, that cat's fur is terrible! She barely has any and what she has is dry as straw!"
Okay, I'll give them that. My fur is thin. It's dry. BUT. You should have seen me when I came in here...
I was naked as a Jaybird! More naked than the day I was born! For a while there, they were wondering if I might be one of those hairless cats... and they weren't sure I would ever grow ANY fur back at all.
So yeah, it's taking time. And what I have now isn't great, but it's definitely progress! And my paws are crossed that some day soon, I'll be wafting around with a long, luxurious coat of shimmering calico fur! It's just that today isn't that day, that's all.
So maybe I can't sell myself on my looks right now - that's okay! I have other excellent qualities!
I'm super friendly! I love people! I can play like a youngster! And best of all? I give kisses!
That's right, this senior gal isn't at all ready to give up! I've got lots of love in me and I'm going to find someone out there who appreciates a cat's inner qualities (and is willing to give me a bit of help growing my outer ones so some day I can have nice fur, too!)

Rapunzel has been vaccinated, wormed, spayed/neutered and tested negative for FELV/FIV which is all included in the $25 adoption fee. If you would like to adopt this cat, you must come into the shelter for a meet and greet. We are open 12-4. (Closed Mondays & Wednesdays) All cats must leave the shelter in a carrier. If you do not bring one with you, one must be purchased at the shelter if available for $5.
