Hi! I’m Patty and I LOVE to run and play. I am 7 years young and my birthday is on Valentine’s Day. I love to play, go on long walks, snuggle on the couch, or lay next to you while you work. I am a very loyal companion and house- and crate-trained.

I would do best in a home where I can really focus on an adult family. I’d love to find a place with an active person or couple who would like to play with me – a lot! I’d do best in a home without other dogs and children. If you think you and I could be a great match, go to www.momsrescueva.org and complete an application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Patty, a Richmond Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever for sale in Richmond, or seeking a Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Richmond.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Richmond already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Richmond breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Richmond paves the way for another one to be saved.
