Winston is an exceptionally sweet dog. He is a shy and gentle dog who loves to be close to you always. He is very sweet and takes treats gently. He is currently in a foster home with 2 other dogs, one very large Great Pyrenees and one small Pug, both of whom he is friendly and accepting of. He also lives with 2 children, ages 9 and 12, and he simply LOVES them! Winston’s favorite thing to do is jump on the bed in the morning and wake them up for school. Some of his behavior shows evidence of mistreatment in the past in that he will retreat if he perceives you are angry with him. We feel a loud and bustling household is not for Winston. Anyone lucky enough to adopt Winston will need to give him time to adjust to his new family and new surroundings. He will need time to build the confidence to show you what a wonderful boy he really is. For a sensitive dog like Winston we will work hard to make a perfect match between this sweet dog and a family that will consider how special he is. PLEASE NOTE: Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted. Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site. The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive. Contact us at 615-661-5333 or firstname.lastname@example.org
