Winston is one of those endearing Beagles that all your childhood memories are made of when you think about the best family pet you ever had…or could have.  This boy loves to crawl in your lap and just love you and be loved by you.  He will wash your face with kisses and such a shame since he was surrendered by his owners who said they were tired of taking care of this sweet boy.  Another one of our society’s “throw away objects” that hopefully will never realize the little worth he held in their hearts and soul.  We know that Winston will be worth all the gold at the end of the rainbow when someone finds him on our website.  Winston is 2 years old and weighs just 20 pounds.  He is very sweet, although shy at first, and we can only imagine why.  He always has a ready tail wag when he sees you and a sloppy kiss to convey his true love.  He would love a family that could take him for walks since he does well walking on a leash.  He likes cats too and of course all other dogs are his canine buddies in life.  Winston will be an amazing companion to any family.  PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or

About Critter Cavalry Rescue New England - VT

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a group of dedicated rescue people who want to save as many dogs and cats from the local shelters before they are euthanized. On the average....there are only 1 out of 10 animals that get adopted from a shelter. We are dedicated to helping increase pet adoptions by offering a shelter animal a foster home to go to while awaiting an adoptive family to find them on our Petfinder website. Won't you please adopt a shelter animal? Or won't you please help us foster a shelter animal while we are looking for their perfect home? What a gift you can give a dog or cat by giving them a place to feel safe and secure....a forever home or a foster home. Won't you help us at Critter Companion Rescue give them a chance to have a life?

Our Adoption Process...

Most all our dogs are fostered in Tennessee and transport up to the Northeast or New England. Our fees start at $500 and can be higher depending on the dog and circumstances for their vetting. All fees cover the health certificate, transportation up to designated places for families to pick up their pre-adopted dog, spay/neuter, rabies, all shots, fecal and dewormings, microchip, complete vet check up and 4 way heartworm test if dogs are older than 8 months.
