Bagheera certainly resembles his namesake. Just like a black panther, Bagheera’s fur is medium length, dark, and shiny, which contrasts nicely to his emerald green eyes. This 1-year-old boy is sharp and quick on his feet, making play-time an interesting experience. Most importantly, Bagheera is a loving and playful cat who is ready for a forever home.
Bagheera is only about 7 pounds but don’t let that fool you, he is large and in charge. Not much is known about his life before he entered the shelter, but it is evident it didn’t spoil his attitude. He is happy to greet people entering the room and is eager to be loved on at times. He gets along well with other cats. He shows interest in dogs but may need a little warming up to a canine companion. He is intrigued by toys; he likes balls, but his favorites are ones connected to string. Bagheera is fond of treats and will eat them out of someone’s hand. Typically, he doesn’t mind being picked up and snuggled for a bit. It is also not uncommon for him to cudlle for considerable lengths of time. He has such a fun a loving personality, he has become a favorite at the shelter. Bagheera is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and ready for a place he can call home and someone who can snuggle and play with him daily.

All cats in the adoption program are examined by a veterinarian, vaccinated, spayed/neutered, and micro-chipped prior to leaving the shelter.
