Cador, neutered male, 1 year old, 35 lbs.
Meet Gentle Cador
Cador was adopted from a shelter when he was a puppy. The previous master didn’t feed him regularly to cause him sick and then abandoned him again. When I first met Cador, he was extremely bony with serious malnutrition and hairless. By looking at his naked skin, at first I thought he might have derma issues. After thorough physical checkup, vet claimed that Cador’s body was lacking nutrition to grow hair. This result made me very angry and sad. To help Cador getting healthier and stronger, I followed vet’s advice to supply all necessary food for his weaken body. Since then, making special nutritious food for Cador become one of my most important tasks every day. And I enjoyed it. Gradually his fur grew back. He started to gain weight and getting healthier day after day. Cador doesn’t like other dogs come near him when he is eating. It’s understandable that he didn’t get enough food when he was a puppy. Cador is a little timid but very friendly young doggie. By giving him some time to adjust, he’d be very sweet and cuddly! Due to Cador didn’t get well treated in puppyhood, he has a weak stomach. Apart from giving him the regular food, Probiotics supplement is highly recommended to improve his digestion. With all necessary care, he should grow 10-15 more pounds in normal size with shinning longer fur. Cador is a very good companion. He likes to walk out, run free and play in a big park meeting new friends. A permanent and understanding home is what Cador needs now. He deserves a second chance to be loved.
