My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jackson is our 5 month old lab mix. Jackson weighs approximately 30 pounds and will be a medium size dog when grown. What a LOVE to everyone! Jackson has so much FUN running around the foster family's home playing with the other dogs. Jackson so eager to learn. He is well socialized and loves cats too!

Jackson is house trained and is one quick learner. Jackson loves his foster home but is looking for his forever home, he is READY!!

He is great off leash and loves to go hiking. He will stay right with you an minds very well.

If you are interested in giving Jackson a wonderful home, go to our Facebook page and download the application from the "Notes" section. While you are there, please "Like" our page to see our new available dogs and keep up with upcoming events.

You can also email us at merceranimalrescue@gmail.com and we will email an application to you.

Jackson's adoption donation is $495 which helps to cover the neutering, shots, bordetella (kennel cough), flea/tick prevention, heart worm prevention, vet examination, certificate of health and transport fee.

Jackson is fostered in Tennessee and will travel to his new home once he has been adopted. We use a professional pet transport service that makes weekly trips to the east coast and twice monthly trips to the Chicago and Milwaukee areas.

Our primary source of funding comes from this adoption donation. This donation allows us to rescue other dogs in danger of being put to sleep, injured or sick dogs and dogs that have never known the comfort of a home.
