Everyone needs a little R&R

Stunning Raven is a sweet girl with striking eyes and a gorgeous fluffy black coat. But, she's more than just a pretty face. She's also a guardian and teacher to a few former foster kittens, helping them build the confidence they needed to find their forever homes. Now, she's ready for a forever home of her own ... with one very special request. Raven wants a forever home where she and her reserved BFF, Rain, can be together.

Rain is a beautiful, part Abyssinian, independent tabby girl who loves sunbathing with Raven. We suspect she performed in Cirque du Soleil in a past life -- her creative, unlikely napping spots are atop the TV and stereo speakers.

These two pair perfectly together. And they'll mix and match wherever they go after being socialized in a busy home with other cats and large dogs.

Raven and Rain are fixed, chipped, and vaccinated.  Their tax-deductible adoption fee is $150.

About St. Francis Animal Protection Society

About Our Rescue Group...

A Northern California nonprofit founded in 1971, St. Francis Animal Protection Society (SFAPS) is there for at-risk animals -- from shelter pets and strays to cat colonies and animals who need a new place to call home. We advocate, educate, and rescue.

As a community-run organization, our work is funded entirely through charitable donations. We focus on dogs and cats at highest risk, regardless of age, breed, or medical condition. And we do what it takes at all costs -- whether that means medical testing, treatment, and training or compassion, care, and companionship. Because we believe every animal deserves to live a happy, healthy life.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We don't have a physical facility -- all our adoptable animals are living the good life in foster homes with people to pamper them until they make a love connection.

Our Adoption Process...

Are you interested in making a St. Francis animal a part of the family?

Great! Submit an inquiry and we'll touch base within 24 hours to discuss your interest. If it's a good match, we'll set up a meet and greet and have you fill out an adoption application. Then, if it's love at first sight, we'll finalize the adoption with a signed agreement and adoption fee.

We may require a home check as part of the adoption process.
