Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Boss: 7-year-old male yellow Lab 130+ lbs
Incredibly happy-go-lucky for a guy who was abandoned by his family and left as a stray, Boss joins the Lab Rescue in order to trim down just a smidge. Seems he has skipped the South Beach Diet, the Paleo Diet, or the Atkins Diet… having totally embraced the “See Food Diet” (if you see food, you eat it). Boss’s foster has introduced the big guy to portion-control (what a concept)… and daily exercise and walks (rocket science principles, here).
What Boss’ Foster says: He has such a sweet disposition, and loves to snuggle. Behaves very well in the house. A relaxed, laid-back dude, and very playful. Sleeps through the night. Beautiful white teeth. Loves to be around "family". Not so good on a leash, though, as it seems he wants to chew through them while on walks --he seems to enjoy just carrying them in his mouth.
What Boss’ Rescue Rep says: We could envision Boss trimming down to a fabulous 90-95 pounds. He is current on vaccinations, microchipped, and neutered. Boss is located in Redwood City.

(Please keep in mind we are all volunteers, most of us work full time and we all have personal lives. I do call everyone back within 2-3 days so please be patient and I will be back in touch with you. When the dogs are in foster homes then it may take longer as we need to touch base with the fosters for updates on the dogs. We work very hard to make the right matches for the dogs and for the new owners. We get 3-5 dogs per week and we do not have a facility that we keep the dogs housed in. They are scattered all over the Bay Area.)
