We would like you to meet our newest bundle of joy.
Sophie is a 6 month old St. Bernard. Due to some neglect, we believe she has an eye infection but she will be seeing our vet this week and they will get her feeling better. She is learning to trust humans and warms up quickly. Sophie is a very sweet, loving little girl. She is good with other dogs, good with kids but due to her size needs to go into a home with kids that are stable on their feet. Sophie has not been cat tested at this time but we believe they would not be an issue for her. She is working on crate breaking and house breaking as she has been kept primarily outside, so her new family will have to have some patience! Sophie will be wonderful addition to your family. We would prefer she goes to a home with previous extra large dog experience but will consider all applicants.
Sophie is not currently ready for her forever home as we have to make sure she is feeling better before she goes! But we are expecting a high volume of applications and for that reason, we are starting to accept applications, but applicants should be understanding that it may be 3-4 weeks before she can come home.
We have to make sure this wonderful lady is set up for success in her home!
