This playful Boston Terrier/ Beagle mix named Zeus needs to find a new home because his owner is going in the military. Zeus has been friendly with people of all sizes, but doesn’t care for other dogs. He would do best in a home as an only dog, but he has learned to ignore other dogs when he goes for walks. He has been through training with Good Decisions Dog Training to improve his behavior with other dogs so he has become more accepting of them. Zeus knows "Sit, Stay, Down, Place and Walk" and also to wait to be released at doorways before going through them. He has played with both a large and medium sized dog and gotten along well, but he can not be trusted with all dogs yet. He met a cat and was curious, but not aggressive towards it, but this cat did not run. Zeus would likely chase if it ran. Zeus is not protective of his food or toys to people and he knows his basic commands. He is house-trained and crate trained and does well on a leash. He is capable of jumping a 6 ft. fence, but he respects an e-collar and will learn quickly to stay away from the fence. Zeus is a happy dog who will cuddle and sit next to you when inside and he enjoys chasing a ball when outside. He is current on his vaccinations, microchipped and weighs in at 32 lbs. Zeus would like to go to a home with owners who will maintain the structure and boundaries that he has been taught, provide him a safe yard to play in and love him for his sweet and playful personality. If you are interested in Zeus, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
