Callie's bio: Found her living in and around a culvert on a vacant lot in my neighborhood. She became familiar with me and our feeding routine after a month and then after the second month I was able to get her back to my house. I took her to the vet where she was found to be spayed and in good health. FIV negative and received all her vaccines---so UTD on everything and has been strictly indoor cat since May 2016.
Callie is a beautiful 3 year old calico. She is extremely loving and sweet. She will stand to meet your hand for head scratches and to be petted. She loves affection and being near me at all times. When I sit down she wants in my lap and would stay there 24/7 if possible. So incredibly loving! She's wonderful and adorable!
She does, however, not feel comfortable living with my cat and dog. She looks uneasy and stressed--on constant watch if they are around or she hears them coming. There haven't been any direct confrontations but there is a lot of growling, hissing and swiping from her basically just as a warning mechanism to stay away. I don't want her to continue to be stressed about her living arrangements. She will be fabulous in a home where she is the only cat and spend great quality time with her people. I think she would also be fine with a smaller, calm dog.
