Delilah's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Delilah's Story...
Meet Delilah! Delilah was found hungry at a vacant gas station. She was definitely a house pet at one time. She was immediately comfortable in her foster home & is not bothered by the dog or cats. Despite the rough time she went through, she keeps her self beautifully groomed and has no mats or knots! It seems the thing she loves most is being with her human(s), especially being pet and held or laying against people.

We estimate Delilah to be about 8 years old. We had a veterinarian perform a full blood panel on Delilah and all of her values were perfect! She is spayed, up to date on vaccines and FIV/leukemia negative.

If you are interested in adopting, please complete an application on our website (www.furfriendsinneed.com). Delilah will be at Petsmart in Holmdel on most Sundays from 1pm to 4pm. Please call (201) 826-1594 if questions or to confirm Delilah's attendance at Petsmart on a particular Sunday.

Completing an application is the first step towards adopting.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Delilah, a Hazlet Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Hazlet, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in Hazlet.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hazlet already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hazlet breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hazlet paves the way for another one to be saved.
