We would like to introduce you to Baylee. Baylee has been fabulous in her foster home. Her foster family calls her "the perfect dog" and we know that you are going to fall in love with her too.

Baylee has beautiful black coloring with tan and white highlights. She currently weighs about 10 pounds, and probably needs to lose about 3 pounds to be at her ideal weight (so we have her on a weight loss program). Baylee has a great personality. She loves the other dogs in her foster home. She enjoys hanging around them, playing with them, and cuddling with them. Baylee is a team player - she does not have to be the alpha dog to be happy! She is fine just making sure everyone gets along and has a great time. She also is fairly quiet (doesn't bark a lot).

Baylee enjoys the outdoors. She likes to go outside, explore the yard, then lay in the sun and enjoy the rays. Note that because of her dark coloring, her family will want to make sure she does not get over heated while in the sun.

Baylee has such a kind and loving personality. By far, the thing Baylee loves the most are her humans. This little girl is the absolute best companion dog. She is a total lap dog. If there is a lap available, she is up on your lap cuddling with you. She strives for your affection 24 / 7. And she will give you lots of kisses if you will let her.

Baylee is also really smart. She is potty trained. She isn't fond of going potty outside when it is raining (of course - who does like to go out in the rain - lol. We told you she was smart). In that situation, she will use pee pee pads. We have also noticed that Baylee is a little afraid during thunderstorms. This is not unusual in small dogs.

Baylee loves being in a pack with other dogs or her humans. She really enjoys cuddling in the bed with you at night and would really love to sleep with her human family if you will let her. Baylee would be great in a home with other dogs, or would be fine as an only dog (as long as her humans spend a lot of time with her). This girl is looking for a forever family to love and cuddle with. Could you make her dreams come true?

About Chihuahua Rescue & Transport, Inc. - Dallas Chapter

About Our Rescue Group...

CRT does not warehouse dogs in a shelter. As in most rescue groups, our dogs are cared for in healthy, safe, loving foster home environments. CRT foster parents work very hard to be sure that their foster dog feels safe and loved while working on housetraining, crate training, socialization, etc. All our dogs are spayed/neutered, fully vaccinated, heartworm tested, fecal tested, microchipped, on heartworm preventative and have all other veterinary needs taken care of (such as heartworm treatment, dentals, luxating patellas, etc.) CRT is known, and has always been known, for taking the injured, infirm and elderly Chihuahuas and Chihuahua mixes. Please consider the adoption of one of these dogs as well. Seniors and special needs dogs make great pets too!

Come Meet Our Pets...

CRT holds various opportunities to meet the dogs looking for homes in our group. These locations, times, and places are listed on our website:

Our Adoption Process...

CRT accepts applications, checks references and requires a home visit. An adoption donation is requested. CRT does not have a shelter and all dogs are fostered in the private homes of our volunteers. Once an application is submitted the foster of the dog inquired about will contact the potential adopter to answer any questions about the dog.
