When a lady was on vacation at a local marina, she noticed a mama cat and her kittens living in the parking lot; a friend who volunteers with The Rescue House connected her to a spay-neuter clinic and when her vacation was over took the kittens home to foster so they could have a better chance in life. Now they are ready for adoption and have made the trip back to this area to find forever homes!

Kent and Kloee like a little warm-up time when first introduced to new people and places (and perhaps some treat bribery, especially for Kloee), and then they will become lively and loving members of your household! Kent particularly loves to be petted on his head and will jump up into your hand to encourage you to pet him again and again. Toy mice and little soft balls must be batted, tossed, and carried about; laser lights and dangly toys must be chased. They will run around together and alternate who’s chasing whom, then doze off cuddled together. Kent and Kloee frequently sought out the beds of the humans in their foster home as the best soft spots. They want very much to be loved and doted upon!

Kent and Kloee blended very well with the other cats in their foster home and prefer having kitty companions. They would go hang out in the bedrooms of the five and eight-year old children. They haven’t met dogs. With gentle handling and proper introductions they will likely do well with many families, though they will need introductory time and a smaller space to get used to all that’s new. While it is not required to adopt them together, Kent and Kloee are siblings and of course make a great pair; they lend each other comfort and reassurance in times of change.

Kent and Kloee found the right person at the right time to get them on track to a better life. Will you help them with this last step of their journey and give one or both a loving forever home?
