Pretty Little, young DSH Female Brown Tabby

Stretchy Sue is a very pretty little 3 year old Shorthair Brown Tabby spayed female.  She is very friendly, sweet and craves attention.  She wants a home where she'll get lots of attention.  She is also playful.  We rescued her from being put down at another shelter, so we don't have any background on her, then she was adopted, but returned due to bullying the other cat in the home (who was very shy).  We can tell she fended for herself on the streets because she is ear-tipped and was fixed so she was TRN'd (trap, neuter, return) most likely whoever did this thought she was feral.  Since she was at another shelter, she must have been rescued from the streets at some point.  She would  probably prefer to be the only cat, but she should be O.K. with other cats who can defend themselves if she tries to be a bit dominant with them.  She is O.K. with cat-friendly children, but does not do well with loud children or those who try to pick her up or won't give her space when she needs it.  She might be O.K. with cat-friendly dogs with proper introduction techniques.   Come meet this pretty and very sweet, little  lady.

About Angels With Paws

About Our Shelter...

We believe ALL animals have the right to life.
Angels with Paws 501c3 charity runs a mostly cage-free, Limited Intake Rescue Shelter that since opening in 2004 has provided over 9,500 homeless, unwanted, abused, neglected and abandoned cats, kittens (and some dogs through foster care) with rescue, Veterinary and other care, rehab and a place to live until they are adopted. Many of them are injured, ill, disabled, and older and would be turned away or put down by other shelters. For these animals Angels with Paws is their last hope. This is amazing work considering we operate out of a converted Fast Food building, have very limited resources, few volunteers, no promotion, and no on-site Veterinarian. We educate the public on responsible pet ownership, and offer advice in caring for pets with the hope that they can be kept in their own homes instead of being relinquished to a shelter, the need to Spay/Neuter and the cruelty of declawing.

Angels with Paws does not receive any Government, Corporate or any regular funding. We do not have an on-site Veterinarian, and have to pay for our Veterinary Care and Supplies. Nearly all of our funding comes from private donations.

Our dream is to see the day when no adoptable animal will be euthanized.
