My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is BONES!! He is around 3 yrs old, 20 pounds.
Bones was found in bones, hence the name. This boy was so weak and malnourished that he could hardly stand on his own. DRWB and Bones believed that a new life was about to start, and that he could overcome this challenge. A few months later... Bones has gone through a transformation! He now walks on his own, and is a happy doggy that loves to give kisses and be petted.
Bones is a distemper survivor, and has an involuntary twitching. This does not stop him from being a happy dog.
He plays with other dogs in the park, likes people of all ages; but prefers females dogs as he tends to be a little territorial with male dogs. He loves to sit by your side to share love and company. He LOVES to be petted, go on walks, and have company. His current foster takes him on several walks a day, including walks of 2-3 miles. He loves it!
He is fully housetrained and sleeps with his foster parents every night. This boy is a lovebug.
We recommend he is the only dog in the house, although he likes other dogs, he really likes to be the only one that receives full attention.
A family that has time during the day to be with him would be preferable. Bones would be a great companion to someone who is retired or works from home.
He is super sweet and smart, this boy deserves to go to a great home.
