ABOUT:
My name is Firefly and I am a big love bug who will give you kisses all day long if you let me. I love cheese and chewing on all my stuffed animal toys while sitting at your feet. I’ll never ask for your food or wake you up to take me out first thing in the morning, I’m just happy getting my belly rubbed and being with my people. I love going for walks and being outside. I walk very well on a leash and would never pull you, but I can’t make any promises when I see a squirrel or bunny. I am completely house trained and am a fast learner. I do a perfect sit and down and when I’m feeling really excited, I will give you my paw so we can hold hands. If you are looking for a dog to just give you all the love in the world I am your girl. I came from a scary situation where my owner left me at a construction site with two other dogs around the clock with disgusting water, no food, and no shelter. I was confiscated by the police on a 90 degree day. I’m nervous around dogs so I would do best as an only dog or with a laid back male who doesn’t mind that I appreciate my personal space, I promise I’ll give him the same courtesy. I’m great with kids, so my ideal home might be one in the suburbs where I can hang with and love on my kids at home. New, busy situations can make me a bit uncomfortable, so I’ll wait at home and save up my kisses for after the soccer game.
