Jet's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, not good with dogs, and good with cats.

Jet's Story...
Jet is a one year old male pit bull terrier. He is crate trained, housebroken, and walks great on a leash. He loves to run and play with his toys.

Jet was abused by a man in his former home, so he is generally afraid of men, but it doesn't take him long to warm up to someone once he realizes that they're friendly.

Jet would do best in a home with no other dogs, however he gets along with the cats in his foster home, so a forever home with a couple cats around would be perfectly fine for him.

This is a courtesy posting for a friend who took in Jet when he had no where else to go. The adoption fee of $150 is to help with the costs of fostering him and a portion may be used for heartworm testing prior to final adoption. Jet is neutered, up to date on vaccinations and has been microchipped. If anyone is interested they can contact Katie at 502-554-0513 or at katiejamescontact@gmail.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jet, a Bedford American Staffordshire Terrier/Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Staffordshire Terrier/Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Bedford, or seeking a American Staffordshire Terrier/Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Bedford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bedford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bedford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Staffordshire Terrier/Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Staffordshire Terrier/Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bedford paves the way for another one to be saved.
