Gina's Story...
WE WILL BE HAVING A SPECIAL HOLIDAY ADOPTION EVENT THIS WEDNESDAY 12/21 FROM 6-8PM AT THE FORT COLLINS PETCO! Gina is a gorgeous 2 year old lab mix. She is very sweet and friendly. She was starving when she came into the shelter but has put on some healthy weight in a foster home and is now thriving. She will max out around 35-40lbs once she has gained all her weight back. She likes to go on long walks and curl up for a good snuggle with her people. She would make a great family or companion dog. This sweet girl will be available at our adoption event this coming Saturday 10/29 at Petco 2211 S. College Ave from 10am-1pm. If you are interested in this friendly girl, please submit an application through our website aaanimalrescue.org. Please feel free to email with any questions allaboardanimalrescue@gmail.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gina, a Fort Collins Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Fort Collins, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Fort Collins.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fort Collins already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fort Collins breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fort Collins paves the way for another one to be saved.
