Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi. My name is Francine and I am the sixth beagle and only girl (of the seven New Jersey beagles) that was rescued by Penny Angels Beagle Rescue in early October. I was fed and taken care of by my owner, but I spent my days in a rabbit hutch and didn’t get much time for socialization. Lucky for me, that didn’t change my sweet disposition!
I am approx. 5 years old and weigh about 26 lbs. I would love to have another dog to keep me company, but I would probably be fine as an only dog, too. I am a mellow girl and get along with everyone that I meet! I would be happy to sit beside you on the couch, or you could sit beside me on the floor! I am currently taking medication for my ears and for sores on my legs… the unfortunate result of living outside in a rabbit hutch for an extended period of time. If I am still on medication when I get adopted, it will be sent home with me.
I was taught how to use a doggie door in Rescue, but realize that I will have to adjust to different rules in my new home. I am okay with learning new things! Would you like to be the one to teach me those new things? I promise to do my very best to please you!
