Autumn's Story...
Autumn Estimated to be 1 ½ year old. Autumn was rescued on the first day of fall this year. Super sweet, low-drive, petite girl just wants to give kisses and be by your side. Autumn has a very sweet temperament, loves people of all ages including very young children and is a little shadow. Petting, ear scratches and belly rubs are sure to keep this girl in heaven!

Autumn is housetrained, adores toys, and relaxing in the sunshine. She plays well with others, is very quiet and rarely barks. She waits patiently for her food, takes treats very nicely. She is still learning that a leash is not something to fear. And she isn’t too sure about car rides but who can blame her when she traveled from Odessa to Dallas to San Antonio just days from delivering her litter of 11 puppies?!

Autumn's litter includes: Pumpkin, Cinnamon, Spice, Clove, Leif, Blaze, Maizy, Ember, Ginger, Cider and Crimson. They will be available for adoption beginning November 22nd.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Autumn, a Allen Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie for sale in Allen, or seeking a Border Collie dog from a breeder in Allen.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Allen already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Allen breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie breeders who help with Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Allen paves the way for another one to be saved.
