My new name is Sugar Plum. Gosh, don’t I just have the cutest little name? It matches my sweet disposition, adorable little face, and sparkling brown eyes. Recently A few of us were given our walking papers after a few years of making puppies. I have been down a long hard road in this life, but I never let it break my spirit and I am eager to start a new chapter. I get along with other dogs and I could probably share my space with a cat. I would do better in an adult- home or one with older children—grabby hands and the boundless energy of toddlers or very young children would just be too much for me. I notice that humans are very happy when I keep my crate clean but you must be prepared for a few accidents until I settle in. I look forward to going on walks around the neighbourhood; this will be a first for me. So far, I love to get gentle scratches behind my ears and feel warm arms wrapped around me – who knew that hands could be so gentle. I promise that once I feel safe and secure, I will be forever by your side; just give me a little time to trust you. So how about you give me the chance to bring a little love into your life?
