Casey's Story...
Hi! I’m Casey and I’m a 4-year-old Weimaraner mix and weigh about 30 lbs. I was dumped by a construction site and I was very hungry and covered in ticks and fleas. I’m incredibly friendly and loving – my tail is always wagging and I LOVE to give kisses! Even though I’m very calm and gentle, if other dogs or people want to play then I will happily play as well. I’m house-trained and NEVER chew anything up, so let me know if you’re looking for a low-key buddy with tons of love to give!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Casey, a San Antonio Weimaraner/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Weimaraner/Labrador Retriever for sale in San Antonio, or seeking a Weimaraner/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in San Antonio.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Antonio already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Antonio breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Weimaraner/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Weimaraner/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Antonio paves the way for another one to be saved.
