Winnie's Story...
Winnie is a petite, well-mannered young lady. She has blossomed in foster care - her eyes brightened and her tail went up as soon as she realized someone cares! She is fully house trained - she's 100% litter pan trained. Her hobbies include relaxing in the sun, pouncing on feet under the covers and playing games with her foster kitten brother. She loves to be petted from the tip of her nose all the way to the tip of her tail. She has a wonderful purr that she is happy to share with anyone who pets her. She would do well as an only cat or in a multi cat household as she loves her foster siblings but also likes to have alone time with her foster mom. If you'd like to talk with her foster mom, please email info@FORrescue.net. We'd love to set up a meeting so you can hear her purr in person. You may also complete our cat application at www.FORrescue.net to get things started! Winnie is located in Huntsville, AL.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Winnie, a Marietta Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
