Whiskey's Story...
Whiskey was found running through traffic in Whittier. He was so matted and flea infested that his behind was bare. Whiskey was taken promptly to the vet and treated, and then 2 GreenDog Foundation volunteers spent 3.5 hours gently combing out his matts. Whiskey never tried to protest or get away. Whiskey is just a delightful and gentle little boy. We estimate his age to be between 4 and 6. He is a Pomeranian mix (possibly with Schipperke). Whiskey gets along with everyone and anyone. He likes dogs and cats alike and never seems to fuss over anything. All Whiskey wants is to be near you. If you are working at a desk, he is there at your feet. If you are doing dishes, he is there. All he wants is to love and be loved. Whiskey walks well on a leash and is wonderful in the house and he has the cutest bark that sounds like a seal! He prefers sleeping under the bed or beside it, and if you're working on the computer, he'll be under your desk. Whiskey is still playful and active, but not a naughty boy at all. He will make someone a wonderful companion. Whiskey is neutered, microchipped, up to date on all shots, and ready to find his person…

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Whiskey, a Capistrano Beach Pomeranian dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pomeranian for sale in Capistrano Beach, or seeking a Pomeranian dog from a breeder in Capistrano Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Capistrano Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Capistrano Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pomeranian breeders who help with Pomeranian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Capistrano Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
