DOB August 15, 2014. Hello! My name is Lexie and I am about 2 years old. I was found with my two kittens, abandoned and completely alone in the world. I am charming, chatty, and cuddly. I require nothing more than a warm lap, some toys, and a bed to cuddle up in with my forever human. I have been living in my fabulous foster home for the last 3 months, where my foster mum has given me and my babies unconditional love, as well as routine maid service. I am totally ready for my own human who will love me unconditionally, chat with me, brush me, and of course give me lots of cuddles! I get along with dogs and would love to add my quirky personality and beautiful aura to your home. I would love to be adopted with my two rascal kids (see bios: Alfie and Gracie), but if you’re unable to, I will understand and love you loyally anyways. I am chatty, affectionate, and have an amazing personality, and I know I'll fit right into family. So please adopt me today - I know you'll fall in love!

About Toronto Cat Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Toronto Cat Rescue is a registered, no-kill charity run by volunteers.

Our mission is to rescue and find homes for abandoned, sick or injured cats from situations of abuse, neglect or imminent euthanasia.

Our vision is for Toronto to be a city in which no adoptable cat is killed and rescue organizations such as Toronto Cat Rescue are no longer needed.

Our registered charity number: 889-198-727-RR-0001

Our Adoption Process...

Decided on the cat or kitten you would like to adopt? Please call 416-538-8592, or email

An adoption counsellor will return your call and give you more details about the cat you are interested in and ask some questions about your home to make sure the cat will be a "purr-fect" fit. We are happy to answer any questions you may have as well.

You will be supplied with the foster home address to have a meet and greet with your kitty. If both parties are happy, you can sign the TCR Contract of Adoption, pay the adoption fee and take your cat home with you in a safe carrying case.

Adoption fee is $175 per cat. This ensures that the cats that come into our care receive the attention they need, are spayed or neutered, and receive a rabies vaccination at the appropriate age. It includes 6 weeks of free pet insurance. For City of Toronto residents, the adoption fee includes a mandatory City of Toronto cat license that is valid for one year. As you can imagine, these fees only begin to cover our costs; donations and ongoing fundraising efforts carry us the rest of the way!

1. ALL senior cats (8 years or older) have an adoption fee of the adopters choice, vs. our standard adoption fee of $175.

2. Our adoption fee for a bonded pair is $100 per cat, vs. $175 per cat.
