Kami's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, not good with kids, and good with dogs.

Kami's Story...

Kami was rescued from the OC Shelter in almost an unrecognizable state...pulled off the streets of Santa Ana where she had been wandering, Kami was one of the worst cases of neglect we have ever seen...but she has flourished and now she is looking for that special family to love and dote on her forever...

Kami is just a little wee thing and has gained almost 2 pounds since being in our rescue.  She now tops the scales at 6 pounds and LOVES her dinnertime!  She spends most of her day curled up on her electric blanket, but if she needs to go to the bathroom, she will let you know.  She is one of the cleanest little dogs we've ever rescued.  She really enjoys to be held and doesn't need to go out with you -- I think she feels safer just being at 'home'.  Kami does walk a little 'bow-legged' in the back...this is due to luxating patellas that were never repaired in her younger days.  Due to her age now, it is not necessary to repair her patellas or put her through this type of surgery.  She gets around fine although walking a bit like a cowgirl.

Kami has been spayed, microchipped and is up to date on all of her vaccinations (including Rabies).  Our adoption fee is $300.  If you think Kami might be the perfect fit for your family, please contact the GreenDog Foundation at greendogfoundation@gmail.com.

Thank you for looking to rescue!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kami, a Capistrano Beach Pomeranian dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pomeranian for sale in Capistrano Beach, or seeking a Pomeranian dog from a breeder in Capistrano Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Capistrano Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Capistrano Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pomeranian breeders who help with Pomeranian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Capistrano Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
