Isadora's Story...

Isadora is a sweet and mild tempered girl who would love to be a lap dog.  Isadora was born with a birth defect on her front leg and dumped at the Riverside Shelter.  The leg is curved outward and she can use it but prefers to hold it up.  Unfortunately, there is nothing that can be done with her dog other than removing it, but she does use it for balancing, so we chose not to do so.  Because of her birth defect, Isadora would be best in a home as just a companion pet and will not require walking or other forms of exercise.  She has an adorable underbite and loves everyone.  Isadora is up to date on vaccinations (including rabies), spayed and microchipped.  If you are interested in Isadora, please email us at greendogfoundation@gmail.com or call us at (951) 609-0765.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Isadora, a Capistrano Beach Pomeranian dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pomeranian for sale in Capistrano Beach, or seeking a Pomeranian dog from a breeder in Capistrano Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Capistrano Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Capistrano Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pomeranian breeders who help with Pomeranian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Capistrano Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
