Deloris was rescued from the Wildomar Shelter where she was so scared that they said she was "mean"...she is far from mean. She was just scared because her owner dumped her and left her. Deloris is very quiet and kind of shy. She does have a heart murmur, but besides that, she is healthy. She is a "low-rider" with little legs but that doesn't stop her from getting around. She is very good in the house and goes outside to "do her business". Deloris gets a little uneasy being "held"...I believe she probably belonged to an elderly person who couldn't hold her a lot, but she loves to be petted while she is on the ground or on a couch. She can't jump up or down off things as her legs are too short! But she's a tremendously sweet dog and a little goofy. She might have been hit in the head??? She sometimes stares at the wall...can't figure at what but she keeps us laughing. Deloris is estimated to be about 7 years old and weighs about 13 pounds. She has a little trouble getting her tiny mouth around big kibble, but she enjoys tiny kibble with some rice and chicken, etc. Deloris is up to date on all her vaccinations (including Rabies), microchipped, spayed and has had a full anesthetic dental.
