My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Thunder was born approx October 2014. He is a really sweet boy who wants to be loved and loves being petted. He will push his head into your hand for more petting. He weighs 42 lbs and small for his breed. His markings are spectacular like a Rotti and the size of a small lab. He needs a gentle hand and best in a home with no other dogs. His prior home had a dog who abused him. He is excited for his new loving furever home where he will be truly appreciated and loved. He was an owner surrender at the shelter because he could not walk on leash. He does fine on leash but is nervous of sights and sounds as clearly he has not been exposed to the world around him.

Stop by and meet our pets on SATURDAYS or if you are not able, email to arrange a convenient time to meet the pet. Adoption events are Saturday from 11 am to 3pm at R and R Pet Lifestyle and Supply at 2780 Tapo Canyon Road, Simi Valley (SE corner of Tapo Canyon and Alamo), except holiday weekends. Please email (staff@arvsimi.org) ahead to make sure a particular pet will be at adoptions.
