From the Foster:
Little Miss Meili has been a great joy since we got her. Her little personality keeps us going everyday. Her crate training has improved greatly in the week we have had her. She will cry a little in the beginning, however, she eventually settles down and is getting better daily. She barely barks unless she sees another dog. Speaking of which - some dogs she gets along with and wants to play with, and some she doesn't She's a sassy lady so would do best with submissive friends, males or ones her size or smaller that are ok with a bossy friend! At night, she will sleep next to our bed...and we don't have to worry about taking her out to potty.
She likes to "chill out" on her pillow and she is a lot of FUN when she plays hide n seek. We are still working with commands but she is learning quickly on how to "come" and "sit and wait" for her food. She does well with bones and treats.
Meili is an adorable puppy! She is enjoying her freedom and loves long walks! Overall, she wants to please and is a very loving dog
Thanks again and here is hoping she finds a loving home soon!
All dogs are in individual foster homes throughout the Twin Cities.

If you live in MN, WI, IA, SD, ND, or IL and would like to meet/adopt this animal or anyone else, then please fill out an adoption application at http://secondhandhounds.org/adoption-information/ and the foster(s) will be in touch! Keep in mind that there may be multiple applicants applying for the same animal(s). You only need to complete 1 application for multiple animals that you're interested in.
Note - We change an animal's listing to say "PENDING ADOPTION" when they already had a meet and greet with a family who plans to adopt that animal. We put "NO LONGER ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS" on a listing when an animal has multiple applications in and the foster has asked to stop accepting any more while they review the applications they've already received.
