Zoe & Sira's Story...
Meet Zoe and Sira! These beautiful girls are the best of friends and must be adopted together. Sira is a beautiful grey girl, who is five years old. Zoe has medium length white and brown fur, and is three years old. Both were a bit shy when they first met new people, but have become less shy more recently and will warm up to you quickly. Sira loves to be brushed, once she gets to know you. Zoe is highly intelligent and loves to do tricks for treats! She’s good at hiding, but only only until she knows you - then she’s very playful! Zoe likes to sit near you, just not on you. She likes to have her own personal space! These beautiful girls would need an adult home only, as small children scare Zoe.

Zoe and Sira came from a colony, where their colony caregiver worked to socialize them. This is where they bonded and became best friends. They came into our care in the spring, when it was felt they had improved significantly enough to be adopted.

Zoe and Sira would love to find their forever home where they can have all the space they need to get to know and love you!

Zoe and Sira are both spayed, microchipped and current on vaccinations.

If you would like to meet Zoe and Sira, please come by and visit them at Oakville Petsmart, or you can fill out an online application: http://ninthlifecatrescue.org/adopt/adoption-application/

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Zoe & Sira, a Oakville Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Oakville, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Oakville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Oakville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Oakville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Oakville paves the way for another one to be saved.
