Sorry that I look pretty grumpy in my profile pic, but it's VERY hard to feel cheerful when you're stuck at the shelter waiting for people to decide that they like you enough to take you home. I'm doing my best to stay positive, but it seems like a lot of people are passing me by and giving all of their attention to the tiny kittens. Anyway, my name is Fluffy. I was brought in to the shelter by my owner when her landlord changed the pet policy and she was no longer allowed to have me (or my mom Sheba) on the property. My mom is a pretty Siamese cat, but I guess I must take after my dad, because I have solid black fur. I'm actually pretty glad that I came to the Humane Rescue Alliance because my mom and I weren't getting along too well. I guess that's normal right? Every kid fights with their parents at some point, and we're no exception. She was always trying to eat my food and that made me nervous. Because of that, I think I'd like to try being the only cat in my new home. Is that too much to ask? I promise I'll be well behaved and friendly enough that you won't even need a second cat! Sound good to you? Please come meet me at the shelter and see if we'd be a good match! I'm really excited to find a new home as soon as possible.

As a Hidden Gem, I get my very own volunteers who spend extra time with me and work with me on basic training needs. That way, I’ll be extra ready to settle into my new home! And, because I’ve been here a little bit longer than my friends, staff have had the opportunity to get to know me really well, and they will gladly answer any questions you may have about me.

As an extra "thank you" for considering taking me home, my adoption fee has been waived*!
