Nick is a gorgeous 4 year old orange boy in need of a quiet home. Nick is a favorite of many of our shelter volunteers. Nick would do best in a calm and peaceful home, being an only cat, or with a female cat who is very laid back and gentle. Nick loves to bask in the sun, and lie on the top level of his cat tower where he can look out the window and watch the birds and the goings on in the yard next door. At his times of playfulness, Nick loves his crinkly tunnel and chasing toys. And Nick especially loves to play in boxes. He also can be a wonderful lap cat and enjoys being petted. He is very good about letting you know when he has had enough. Nick came to us as a stray, over 2 years ago. We believe that at some time in his past, Nick may have been mistreated. Based on this possible mistreatment that Nick experienced, he will take extra time settling into your home. During any transition to his new home, Nick may get upset and would likely display some behaviors that will require patience and understanding.Won't you consider giving this sweet boy a chance to settle into a comfortable new life and be safe and loved with you?

About Kingdom Animal Shelter

About Our Shelter...

We are a non-profit, all volunteer, no-kill shelter for cats.We provide a loving, safe, healthy home for the cats while they are waiting for their forever home. They are up to date on vaccines and have been dewormed and defleaed and spayed/neutered if that is age appropriate. We also tend carefully to any medical conditions. We do not euthanize to make room for other more desireable cats or because a cat has been with us "too long". We are truly "no kill"...i.e. we do not send cats out to be euthanized.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Our adoption hours are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 4-6 p.m. Thursdays, 3:30-5:30, and Friday, Saturday, and Sunday noon to 3. During the summer we are sometimes closed on a weekend day. Check our website for those days.

Our Adoption Process...

Spayed and neutered cats are $95. Unspayed or unneutered kittens are $145 which includes a voucher of $50 to local vets for spaying or neutering (Danville Animal Hospital, Western Ave. Vet Clinic, and St. Johnsbury Animal Hospital).
An applicant must be approved through personal meeting, viewing interaction with the cat, 2 personal references, 2 vet references, and a landlord approval if the applicant is renting. We do not do same day adoptions, but rather take several days to be sure that the home will be safe and loving and responsible.
